Some companies think that we can "paint" over the problems a "nice logo". Fortunately for the consumers, branding strategies have nothing to do with what the client wants but with what he needs in order to be successful.

You know those air fresheners that cover the smell, but do not eliminate it? You don’t know the difference between the nice smell which covers the bad one and the authentic smell of a fresh air until you really feel the real one.

We don’t want to be nice in the product branding development. We want to be authentic, because a great product is not nice, nor shiny. It’s just authentic.

Who decides what a great product stands for? The customers. But until then, we have to outline the qualities by which we want your product to be perceived and loved. In order to do that, we need a product which can be strong and healthy by default, without embellishment. Branding is not for covering up some spots, it is not a foundation cream, is the ultimate hydrating cream which enlightens your product’s skin.

So make sure you are honest with your product or service, if you want it to be perceived as honest by customers. And then take it out in the fresh air.
